About me
I am a bagpiper, based in Newport, South Wales.
I have many years experience playing the pipes at various types of events, including weddings, parties, funerals, Burns Night suppers, and corporate events. I have played at the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena and even piped on the Severn Bridge crossing.
A selection of the services I offer are detailed below, but I will always try to suit my services to your needs. Please contact me to see how I can enhance your day.
Weddings. I can greet your guests at the church, or bridal suite, prior to the service and then entertain your friends and relatives after the service with pipe tunes while photographs are taken. I can be in attendance at the reception and welcome your guests on arrival to the venue. On times I have been requested to pipe the bride and groom to their seats at the top table.
The price I charge is dependant on the location of the wedding and your requirements for the day. However, as a guide, to greet your guests prior to the service and to also entertain your friends and relatives afterwards while photographs are taken, prices start from £100.
Burn's Night suppers. No Burn's night supper or party is complete without a bagpiper to pipe in the haggis. (25th January)
Parties and anniversaries. On such occasions I can welcome your guests to the venue with a few tunes, or simply surprise a friend or relative with a few traditional Scottish tunes.
Funerals. The piper can play at the service, church, crematorium or graveside.
